The Brand
Started on the boardwalks of Venice Beach, Jerusalem Sandals was created to promote a message of peace between the two conflicted nations of Israel and Palestine. "Jeru" translates to teaching and "Salem" to peace. Today, Jerusalem Sandals is a leading brand of handcrafted footwear products crafted the same way thousands of years ago in the ancient world. From using leather tanning to using high-quality flexible materials, Jerusalem Sandals creates footwear products. Shoppers can feel confident in the quality of the sandal.
The Problem
Jerusalem Sandals is a digitally native brand by nature, and due to handmaking each shoe, maintaining a large inventory of half-sizes is not feasible. Offering only whole sizes made it difficult for shoppers who traditionally wear a half size to purchase the right size. Furthermore, different styles can have different fits and feels, which leads to many returns due to sizing rates and hesitation among shoppers interested in purchasing online.
The Solution
Jerusalem Sandals deployed ReaLift's web-based footwear sizing solution and together enabled shoppers to find their ideal shoe size for the first time.

Starting and operating a footwear business online is always a challenge versus a primarily wholesale strategy.
